I am so basic and LOVE all things pumpkin (Except you, PSL – ha!). But for real, if there is something pumpkin flavored, I am ordering it, buying it, or making it. I came across this pumpkin recipe and I knew I had to share it with y’all! I love sharing quick and simple recipes with you guys because I am definitely no chef and am all about ease and saving time. We had a gathering at our house this week and Willa and I made these cookies and they were a hit! They are so soft and delicious and they taste just like fall!
Willa and I bake together in the kitchen often. We love making fun little treats for her lunchbox that are festive for the season or upcoming holidays. I love it because it is special time for just the two of us that she doesn’t get as often now since Poppy joined our family. Not only do we get quality time together, it teaches her real life skills as well as reading skills. So I definitely encourage you to get in the kitchen with your kids!
Since Willa and I do love cooking together so much, we FELL IN LOVE with these matching aprons!! Willa and I love them so much and we think it is so fun to match while we cook together. I wonder how long she will think it’s cool to match her mom?? They have several patterns to choose from and you can check them out and purchase here. Now, here is this recipe for these decadent little cookies that only require THREE INGREDIENTS to make!
1 box of spice cake mix
1 15oz can of pumpkin puree
1 12oz bag of chocolate chips (you can use semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Pour the cake mix and canned pumpkin into a bowl and stir together until combined.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix.
- Use a small cookie scoop to form cookies on a greased cookie sheet. (Using the small cookie scoop, we made about 50 cookies!)
- Bake 10-12 minutes.
Ok, I think one of those cookies is calling my name. I can’t quit eating them! Let me know how you like them if you decide to make them. Tag @ABraggsLife on IG or Facebook! Enjoy!
