Kids Summer Reading

When I was pregnant with Willa, I found some shelves from Pottery Barn Kids that I wanted so badly for her nursery. My sweet dad, who is super handy and always helpful, had them built within in few days for me. Still, five years later, I love to display our favorite books on them. If you don’t have a handyman in your life, you can find similar shelves to ours here.

My favorite books on our shelves are the Princess books by Francesca Rossi. Willa really enjoyed princess movies when she was younger, but I have never been a big fan of character stuff myself. However, when I found these princess books, I knew they were the perfect compromise! Willa would get her princess books and I adored the beautiful and whimsical illustrations of these books. I never change these books out because we all love them so. Our other current favorites are on the top shelf. We really enjoy these and I am sure your littles would, too! What are your kid’s favorite books that we need to read? Comment below!

Francesca Rossi Books: Cinderella // Snow White // Beauty and the Beast // Sleeping Beauty // Rapunzel

Other Books: Olivia and the Fairy Princess // McElliogot’s Pool // In My Heart: A Book of Feelings // What Do You Do With an Idea? // Paddington: The Original Story

I also adore these images I found on Pinterest of other creative ways to display books in your child’s room or playroom. These may inspire you as they did me!
