The majority of the time, I don’t wear very much make-up, if any. However, if I know I will be out and about running errands without wearing any make-up, there are three products that I use to help my make-up-free face look a little more refreshed and they add only a minute or two to my morning routine.
The first thing that I put on my make-up free face is the Eyes on the Prize eye cream by Perfectly Posh. I got it at our Favorite Things party, and I told you all how much I love it in that post. It awakens and brightens my eyes. I have dark circles that are partly hereditary (from my mama) and partly that Poppy wakes me up 2-4 times each night. So, this eye cream is a must each morning for me. And so is a venti coffee.
The next trick that I do to brighten my make-up free face is add highlighter! Even if I have NO make-up on, I throw some highlighter on the tops of my cheek bones, a tad on the middle of my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, my cupid’s bow, and a tad on my chin. This gives you a glow and makes your complexion look so much better! My favorite highlighter to wear make-up-free is actually eyeshadow from the Jaclyn Hill palette by Morphe. I like to mix the far left two on the top row. This eyeshadow palette is also so amazing for when you DO feel like wearing make-up – it’s wonderful quality for a great price! The other highlight I like to use when I have no make-up on is this set of three, and I mix them all. Both of these products are a little less intense so they look more natural without any other make-up on. I also give the tops of my cheeks a spray (or 4!) of this Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. It is a little pricey, but amazing! However, the highlight alone will make a huge difference in your make-up free skin.
Finally, I finish my make-up-free look with a very natural-looking lip product, There are two that I prefer when I am not wearing make-up. The first is this YSL Tint-in-Balm in #12 Try Me Berry. The second one that I really like is this butter gloss by It Cosmetics in the shade Naturally Pretty.
So, if you want to up your make-up-free face game, you can incorporate these three things and it won’t add but a minute or two onto your prep time to get out the door! If you have any other tips, tricks, or products you suggest, comment below!
