Quick and Easy Cookies for Santa

You all know how much I love easy recipes! So, today I wanted to share two of my favorite cookie recipes that both only require a few ingredients. This first recipe only needs cake mix, cool whip, an egg, and powdered sugar. You can use any flavor cake mix, but our favorite for Christmas is red velvet. They taste delicious, look festive, and are simply beautiful! You can find the Cool Whip Crinkle Cookie recipe here.

One of my favorite cookies is a shortbread. For this particular recipe, you only need butter, brown sugar, and flour. I also like to mix in sprinkles to the dough before baking and then once they are done and cooled, dip them in melted white chocolate and then top with more sprinkles. This part is completely optional though! You can find my favorite (and very easy) buttery shortbread recipe here.

For these shortbread cookies, I LOVE using this Rolling Cookie Cutter from Pampered Chef. It is so easy and fun to use and Willa and I have the best time together making these cookies! You could also use this gadget to cut pizza dough to make mini pizzas or to cut pasta for ravioli. A kitchen tool that holds more than one use is definitely something that I can get behind!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! What are your favorite holiday cookies?
